Description

This crockpot chicken and gravy is a simple, comforting slow cooker meal made with juicy chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy gravy. It’s an easy hands-off dinner that pairs perfectly with hot steamed rice and works well for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • ▢1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup

  • ▢2 (0.87-oz) envelopes of chicken gravy mix

  • ▢1/2 cup water or chicken broth,, optional

  • ▢hot steamed rice


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season lightly with salt and pepper, if desired.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water or chicken broth if using until smooth.

  3. Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

  4. Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  5. Before serving, break the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces using two forks and mix them into the gravy.

  6. Serve the chicken and gravy hot over steamed rice.
