Description

This garlic bread grilled cheese combines crispy, golden garlic-buttered bread with a perfectly melty cheese center. Quick to make and deeply comforting, it’s an easy go-to for lunch, dinner, or a satisfying snack using simple pantry staples.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 2 sandwiches

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 4 slices of bread

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.

  • Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread, covering the surface completely.

  • Place two slices of bread butter-side down on a board or skillet. Divide the shredded cheese evenly between the slices.

  • Top with the remaining bread slices, placing them butter-side up to form two sandwiches.

  • Heat a skillet over low heat. Cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on the first side, until the bread is golden brown and crisp.

  • Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 4–5 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the bread is evenly golden.

  • Remove from heat, slice, and serve immediately while hot and melty.

Notes

  • Low heat is key for melting the cheese without burning the bread.

  • Spread garlic butter evenly for consistent crispness.

  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
