Ingredients
Main Ingredients
-
8 large flour tortillas
-
1 lb deli roast beef, thinly sliced
-
2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
Butter Mixture
-
2 tablespoon butter, melted
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon onion powder
Au Jus
-
1 packet au jus gravy mix
-
2 cups water
Optional Garnish
-
Chopped parsley
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet.
-
Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
-
Evenly layer the thinly sliced roast beef over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
-
Sprinkle the shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese evenly over the roast beef.
-
Roll each tortilla up tightly and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
-
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder until combined.
-
Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the roll ups.
-
Bake for 22 minutes, until the roll ups are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
-
While baking, prepare the au jus by mixing the gravy packet with 2 cups of water according to the packet instructions and heating until warm.
-
Remove the roll ups from the oven and optionally slice them in half. Serve warm with au jus for dipping and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
-
Rolling the tortillas tightly helps prevent the filling from escaping.
-
Placing roll ups seam-side down keeps them secure while baking.
-
Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
