Description

These garlic parmesan potato wedges are oven baked until golden on the outside and tender on the inside. Made with simple pantry ingredients, they’re an easy and comforting side dish that works well for family dinners, casual meals, or snack-style plates.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 large russet potatoes

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet and set aside.

  • Wash the potatoes and slice them lengthwise into evenly sized wedges. Place the wedges in a large mixing bowl.

  • Drizzle the olive oil over the potato wedges and toss until all pieces are evenly coated.

  • In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle this mixture over the potatoes along with the shredded parmesan cheese. Toss well to coat evenly.

  • Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, placing them skin-side down.

  • Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the wedges are fork-tender and golden brown. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Cut potatoes evenly to ensure consistent cooking.

  • Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for best browning.

  • Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
