Description

These Air Fryer Chicken Breast Recipes focus on even cooking, simple seasoning, and a light golden finish. Using a quick oil-and-spice paste and controlled air fryer heat, the chicken turns out tender, juicy, and reliable for everyday meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (***)

  • ½ teaspoon oregano

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, kosher salt, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until a smooth paste forms.

  2. Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the seasoning paste, rubbing it over all sides so the chicken is fully covered.

  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  4. Cook at 370 degrees for 10 minutes.

  5. Flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking for an additional 4–8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer, tent loosely with tin foil, and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Cooking to 160 degrees allows the chicken to finish cooking while resting without drying out.

  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.

  • Resting the chicken helps retain moisture and improves slicing texture.

  • Cooking time may vary slightly depending on chicken thickness and air fryer model.
