Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Nachos are a quick, no-fuss dessert made with crispy cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips, a light and fluffy cheesecake-style cream, and juicy strawberries. This recipe is ideal for busy days, last-minute guests, or when you want a sweet treat without complicated steps.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 small flour tortillas

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream

  • ¼ cup (50 g) powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, diced

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

  • Fresh mint or chopped pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Brush the tortillas with melted butter on both sides, then sprinkle evenly with sugar and cinnamon.

  • Cut the tortillas into triangles using a pizza cutter or knife.

  • Arrange the tortilla triangles on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely. The chips will become crunchier as they cool.

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

  • Slowly add the heavy cream and beat until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, similar to whipped frosting.

  • Chill the cheesecake cream until ready to use.

  • In a separate bowl, combine diced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Toss gently and let sit for 10–15 minutes until syrupy.

  • Arrange the cooled cinnamon chips on a serving platter. Spoon or pipe the cheesecake cream over the chips.

  • Top with the strawberry mixture. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with mint or pistachios if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Allow the tortilla chips to cool fully before assembling to keep them crisp.

  • Chilling the cheesecake cream helps it hold its shape during serving.

  • Assemble just before serving for the best texture and presentation.

  • This dessert is best enjoyed fresh; store components separately if needed.
