Description

A simple, comforting dessert made with juicy strawberries and a buttery cake mix topping. This frozen strawberry dump cake is quick to assemble, bakes in one dish, and delivers a warm, golden finish perfect for busy days or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces fresh strawberries, sliced (frozen will also work)

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9-inch baking dish.

  • Add the strawberries to the baking dish and spread them into an even layer.

  • In a bowl, mix the melted butter and the cake mix until a crumbly mixture forms.

  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the strawberries.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is slightly golden and the strawberries are bubbling.

  • Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Frozen strawberries can be used directly without thawing.

  • Do not press the topping down to keep the texture light and golden.
