12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef and sauté until soft and fragrant.

Stir in the diced tomatoes and beef broth, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 5 minutes.
