Ingredients
For the Chicken:
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (about 6 ounces each)
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon paprika
-
Ezoic
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
2 tablespoons olive oil or unsalted butter
For the Sauce:
-
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
6 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Ezoic
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
-
Season the chicken breasts or thighs evenly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
-
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
-
In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly.
-
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
-
Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Let everything simmer together for 3–5 minutes so the chicken absorbs the sauce flavors.
-
Remove from heat, garnish with additional Parmesan cheese or herbs if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
-
Keep the heat at medium when cooking the garlic to prevent burning.
-
Let the sauce simmer gently to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.
