Description

These air fryer chicken breasts are seasoned simply and cooked until juicy and tender without breading. They’re a reliable, everyday protein option that works well for quick weeknight dinners, meal prep, and make-ahead meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon oregano

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, kosher salt, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until a smooth paste forms.

  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry, then coat them evenly on all sides with the seasoning paste.

  3. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.

  4. Cook at 370°F for 10 minutes.

  5. Flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking for an additional 4–8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.

  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer, tent loosely with foil, and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Using chicken breasts of similar size helps ensure even cooking.

  • Letting the chicken rest after cooking keeps it juicy and tender.

  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to allow proper air circulation.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
